About TrendHQ
TrendHQ is a free price-tracking platform for trading card games. We index 644,238 cards across every trading card game we track, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, Flesh and Blood, and Digimon Card Game, with additional integrations listed when usable inventory is available.
What does TrendHQ do?
We maintain printing-aware card catalogs and attach market-reference prices only when a separate price source resolves to the exact printing. Source, currency, price meaning, variant, and timestamp stay attached to each displayed value. The platform is read-only and free — we do not sell cards. Optional accounts add collection tracking, decks, wishlists, and price alerts.
Where does the price data come from?
- Magic: The Gathering — Scryfall for the enabled catalog and USD/EUR price fields.
- Pokémon TCG — Pokémon TCG data repository for catalog data only. TCGCSV (USD) and Cardmarket (EUR) are selected price candidates but are not enabled.
- Yu-Gi-Oh! — YGOProDeck for catalog and marketplace-product identity. TCGCSV is the selected exact-product USD source but is not enabled.
- Disney Lorcana — Lorcast for catalog data only; embedded prices are ignored and no current price collector is enabled.
- Flesh and Blood — card catalog data from the-fab-cube. Current price updates are unavailable until a reliable price source is integrated.
- One Piece Card Game — Bandai official card list. The game appears in public directories only when its catalog contains usable records.
- Digimon Card Game — Bandai official card list. The catalog source does not provide current market prices, and its scheduled import remains approval-gated.
How often do prices update?
The scheduler runs approximately every 24 hours, but each source has its own upstream timestamp and can be delayed by an outage, rejection, or disabled rollout gate. Card pages show that source timestamp. A value older than the price freshness threshold remains visible as a stale last-known reference instead of being presented as current.
Is the data accurate?
Prices reflect what an attributed upstream source reported for a specific currency and semantic such as market, trend, average, or low. Market prices for collectible cards fluctuate and can vary significantly between marketplaces, finishes, and conditions. Raw and graded values are kept separate, and one currency is never silently substituted for another. Use TrendHQ for relative trends and ballpark valuations; consult marketplaces directly before buying, selling, or insuring high-value cards.
Who runs TrendHQ?
TrendHQ is built and maintained by a small independent team of TCG players who wanted a free, fast, no-account-required way to check card prices across multiple games. The project is independent of the publishers and marketplaces whose public data sources it uses.
